Talks, Workshops and Exhibitions
The exhibition followed the “Anti-Discrimination Workshop and Conversation Series,” held between December 24–27. Within this series of events, two parallel sessions – conversations and an open workshop – provided artists with both an intellectual and creative platform. Discussions in the talks focused on discrimination, marginalization, solidarity, and the transformative power of art, which were then transformed into artwork by the artists during the workshop. Throughout this production process, the workshop remained open to the public, allowing many people from the city to observe the process firsthand and interact directly with the artists.

Outcomes of the Dialogue
“A Little Further” was conceived as an outcome of this intense sharing process. The exhibition aimed to draw attention to the fact that discrimination exists not only in overt, visible forms, but also in its often unnoticed, “little further away” forms within everyday life. Participating artists interpreted these concepts based on their own experiences and observations; they conveyed them to the audience through personal and collective expressions in different mediums.

“A Little Further” is not just an exhibition; as a result of collaborative thinking, creation, and solidarity, it has become an important meeting point for independent artists in Eskişehir. During the exhibition, many viewers living in the city left the venue with new questions about the relationship between art and discrimination.
